Fall Days

Fall is fun! The weather is definitely feeling like fall these days. Lil' T loves to drag our rake around the yard and we have made a great, big pile of leaves in our front yard. This afternoon Lil' T sat and played in the pile for awhile. He would pick up a leaf and sing "happy birthday". It is his favorite song these days. He has also shown an increased interest in art activities. He requests "color" (crayons or markers with paper) at least once a day and he has been experimenting with Q-Tips and paint. We have framed his first painting for the wall. He calls every color "blue" at the moment. One day this week Lil' T was needing an activity to keep him busy while I was making dinner so we had him "cook" too. I gave him some "goop" (cornstarch, water & food coloring) with a few spoons, a measuring cup and an empty spice container. Auntie Lisa supervised so I could focus on dinner. Lil' T was engaged for quite a while and we revisited the activity the next day too. We have a fun week coming up with 2 Halloween parties, Toddler Time and a visit to Plymouth. We are very excited to be heading to Disney in about a week. Here are some pictures from this past week. One is of the goop activity, one is of Lil' T q-tip painting, one is of Lil' T helping his Daddy clean the gutters (as soon as Ry came off the ladder Lil' T was up it, he is a little monkey!) and the last one is Lil' T in the leaf pile, enjoy!
