His New Stats are In

Lil' T had his 2 year Dr's appointment today. He weighs in at 35 3/4 lbs (99%) and measures in at 36 inches (91%). He is now on the charts instead of off them on his own curve:) He was a total ham for the visit. When the nurse called his name he went running up to her and followed her to the room without even glancing back at me. He stood on the scale very still and then put his back up against the wall to be measured. The nurse was amazed because she said most of the 2 year olds she has seen pitch a fit when they have to do this. Then he went back in the room and let her check his pulse and take his temp. When she was done with the vitals he said "ahhh" while opening his mouth and then pointed to his ear and said "ear" as if it was time to check his mouth and ears. The nurse and I were both laughing as she told him that the Dr would do that. Lil' T then waited patiently for the Dr to arrive and when she walked in the door he greeted her with a big "hi". He continued to perform all his tricks for her. I am so lucky that he loves his Dr! Let's just hope he decides to like the dentist as much:)
This child of ours has a really good memory and we will have to make sure we don't make him promises we can't keep. We went to the bank earlier this week and when we pulled into the parking spot he pointed out the window and said "pop". He remembered that he got a lollipop when we were there over a month ago.
Quotes of the week: "How bout Elmo?", "Watch out", "Here I come". The last two are what he says when he is coming down his new slide or when he is sending something down his slide.
Okay I have prattled on long enough and if you are still reading thanks for your patience:) Here are some pictures from our last few days on the Vineyard and from Lil' T's buddy Vivian's 2nd birthday party. He had a ball helping her open her gifts and she let him:) Pictures: 1) sledding with "bapa" (yea for a little Vineyard snow), 2) juice pops with buddies Noah and Chloe, 3) playing the guitar with "Ware" (yes folks that is what he was calling my mother by the end of week), 4) checking out Viv's new goldfish and 5) helping Viv open all her presents!
