The Adventures of Lil' T: Fantastic Weekend with Fabulous Friends!

What a wonderful weekend! Ryan was here and we had Ciara Ru and Sam on Friday. We treated them to a yummy Thai lunch before meeting the Beaulieu Clan at the boat. The sun was shinning and continued to do so for most of the weekend. We began the fun with a ride on the Flying Horses. Reilly & "Uncle" Stephen caught the brass ring and got to ride again! We then picked up a treat on the way to the cottage. We dropped off bags and ate the yummy treat (M&M and Chocolate Chip cookies) on the porch. After Ciara Ru & Sam were picked up we spent a couple hours at State Beach where the kiddos had a blast swimming, collecting shells and "skipping" rocks. Then we picked up some pizza and enjoyed a relaxing dinner on the cottage porch. On Saturday we headed to South Beach for the morning. There were a lot of planes to spot and much digging to do. Lil' T went swimming with Daddy since it was very calm (for those of you who don't know south beach usually has waves). Bapa rode his bike and met us for lunch and a quick swim. After an afternoon of napping and lounging we attended the Moriarty's second annual Pig Roast. Everyone had a blast! The kids & adults played and ate and there was a little dancing too. Someone needs to tell Uncle Robb that too much lighter fluid makes for a smelly S'more! On Sunday we toured up-island, found 3 letter boxes, ate lunch overlooking the cliffs, made a quick Chilmark Chocolates stop, napped, found one down-island letterbox (well Myriah, Reilly & I did during nap) and then rode on the Flying Horses one last time before I put them on the boat. Phew! What a weekend!
