Never a Dull Moment

Life with a 3 year old is never dull. Lil' T has quite the imagination these days and loves to reenact things he has read about or seen. He will also act out what he is watching on TV as he is watching it. It's a good thing we are careful about what he is watching and hearing about. Yesterday he acted out camping. He had a backpack and walking stick. He collected wood for a fire and then roasted marshmallows and hot dogs over the heat. This was all pretend he used grass for wood and long stems for roasting sticks. Lil' T is also quite the dancer. We have a game for our Wii called Just Dance and he knows all the moves. It's too funny. I think he now hears the music in his head (luckily it is all G-rated versions of the songs). "Step-By-Step" and "Can't Touch This" are two of his favorites! We had our last official day with Miss G last week. Lil' T looked so sad when "Auntie" Julia said they weren't coming over the next day. He will ask for Lil' G every now and then. I think he is starting to realize that Miss P is here to stay. The other day he said to me "no talk to P mama, talk to me mama!" and he will say "I need my mama" when I am holding Miss P. He continues to be gentle with her though. We had a nice, relaxing long weekend on the Vineyard. Unfortunately the little man was sick (we think it may have been strep but we had conflicting results from the labwork) so we had to keep him in solitary confinement for the beginning of the trip. It was good in a way because we had some quality family time and got to spend extra time with Grama & Bapa and Nani & Da. We did get a visit in with "Uncle" Robb, "Auntie" Eileen, Gerry and CJ. We also had breakfast with Uncle after he got back from the Big Apple. We spent that morning with Ciara Ru, Sam and Emmy too:) Here are some photos from the past week, enjoy!
