How Can He Be 5!

UPDATE: Finally posting this post on 1/23/12 although it is dated the date I started working on it. I am adding a slide show as something new. Bare with me as I am trying to figure out my new computer. Lil' T's new stats: 56lbs, 46.6 inches. He is in the 98% for both. My tall boy, I will be looking up to him by them time he is 10! He continues to be healthy and he was very brave during his shots (he sat all by himself, his choice). We also had his first parent/teacher conference. He got a glowing report and his teachers seem to really enjoy having him in their class. Apparently the other children in his class argue over who is going to be Lil' T's partner in line, he has become quite popular:) I love the school he is in! They just get it!

AS usual I am way behind in posting on here. Christmas has come and gone and the little man is officially 5 (how did that happen?). Lil' T has grown so much this past year, in body and mind. He has his 5 year check up in a couple of weeks but he was about 47 inches tall and weighed in at 54 lbs when we went in a couple of weeks ago to check his cough. Many people think he is older than he is because of his height but he acts like a pretty typical 5 year old. He has a great imagination and loves to be outdoors. He continues to enjoy his time in the pool although he hasn't had as many opportunities to do that lately. He continues to thrive in pre-K and we are looking forward to our first parent-teacher conference. We will soon have to make the decision about where we will send him for Kindergarten since the enrollment for his current school has already begun. I still can't believe that we are this point in time. Before I know it his sister will be starting school! We had a great Christmas with Grama, Bapa, Uncle and Jen at our house. Santa spoiled us all, the food was great, the company even better and with the mild weather we were able to enjoy a pre-dinner hike in our back 40:) Lil' T's birthday was quiet with just Grama, Bapa and our family. Both kids were a little overdone from the day before and the weeks of anticipation leading up to Christmas. We had held our annual holiday bash and did the big birthday all in one afternoon the week before Christmas so I am not surprised that we were all a little spent. Lil' T was very appreciative of all his new things and has been in his glory playing with everything including all of his sister's new things as well, hmm... We are now enjoying a week on MV where the weather is mild and great for hiking. Here is a sampling of photos from December. May you all have a very Happy New Year!
