First I would like to wish all the moms and moms-to-be out there a very Happy Mother's Day! Being a Mom is so amazing, exhausting and crazy at times but it really is the best! Being Lil' T's mom has been one of the most rewarding things in my life. Lil' T just lights up my life. He has us all laughing often (even when we really shouldn't be). His smile just melts me. Anyway, we have had another fun week. We had a playdate/ craft day with cousin Ella. We visited my school. Lil' T thought the other kids were great. We also had our first session of Baby Time at the library with the new Children's librarian. It was a different experience but Lil' T still seemed to enjoy it. Today we went to our friend Matt Tavares' book signing. His new book is called Lady Liberty- A Biography. It was a collaborative effort with Doreen Rappaport writing it and Matt illustrating it. The illustrations are amazing. Matt is really talented! We had a nice picnic in the park with Matt, Sarah, Ava and Molly before the signing. Molly and Lil' T are only a few months apart and they really seem to enjoy each other. Here are a few pictures from the week. 1) Lil' T is smelling our cherry blossoms (I love the dandelion behind his ear!), 2) Lil' T playing in the mud at CCC, 3) Lil' T with his buddy Molly, 4) Lil' T picked up his Auntie's keys, put her purse on his arm and headed for the door (too funny!) and 5) Lil' T pushed a toy between his legs and then bent down and reached between his legs with his head on the floor for balance to retrieve the toy. Enjoy!
