We were hoping for a nice quiet week after the crazy weekend but no we have had more craziness! First Lisa and I attempted to take Lil' T to see Santa. Lil' T wanted nothing to do with him so I ended up sitting on Santa's lap with Lil' T on my lap. It was a bit comical. That night I got a call from my cousin Chad saying that their baby had arrived! 4 1/2 weeks early so it was a bit alarming at first. Thankfully both mom and baby are doing well. Big sister Ella is very excited but can't see her baby sister until she is out of the NICU:( We were hoping to go visit Mackenzie and the baby in the hospital yesterday but Lil' T had a bit of an accident so we had our own little trauma. He and I were out shoveling the front walkway and I made the mistake of letting him play with the big metal shovel. He tripped and fell and bumped his mouth badly(on the shovel as it turns out, I wasn't sure what he hit at the time). One of his top, front teeth got pushed back and it wasn't pretty. I managed to stay calm and spoke with a nurse and then made a dental appointment. The dentist was fabulous but Lil' T wanted no part of that visit until the end. The dentist was able to look in his mouth but he wouldn't bite down for her. I was told to manage the pain with Tylenol and check back in the next day. Well by the time we got home Lil' T was back to his crazy self. He ate a great dinner and I knew we were going to be just fine! The dentist was great and called to check in this morning. She was very glad to hear that he was eating. This evening we went to Ella's house so Lil' T and she could play. The two were a riot together. They had us adults laughing the whole time. After dinner and some "naked" play time we went over to the hospital with Chad and Marcia. Lil' T hung out with Marcia and Mackenzie while Ryan, Chad and I went to the NICU. Mackenzie looks great and baby Charlotte Gloria is gorgeous. She has blonde hair and is a peanut. See the stats below. She is doing really well. She is off the oxygen and in a regular bassinet. They do have her on an IV for her sugar levels but they are starting to wean her off that. Here are some pictures.
