Independence Can Mean Trouble!!!

This morning began like most mornings; Lil' T woke up and was happily playing in his crib. I roused myself out of my comfortable bed and went into his room to let him loose for the day. What did my wondering eyes behold but a half naked toddler exclaiming "uh oh diaper mama!" and his PJ pants and diaper strewn on the floor! Thankfully it was just a wet diaper with no big surprises in it. I guess I will have to get myself up as soon as I hear "mama, mama, mama, mama" like I did this morning right before I went in. Just had to share. It was quite funny and we know now he can get his own pants off if he wants to:)
Oh and I have also learned it is not a good idea to leave a wading pool out with water in it when in a hurry to go somewhere. He jumped in fully clothed when we were heading to the library yesterday morning. Oh the joys of raising a toddler!
