Nature Boy!

Lil' T loves to explore the great outdoors and had many opportunities to do that last week since it was beautiful out every day. We started our week with a hike with our friends Vivian (Lil' T now calls her "Ware", he would take the lead, look back and say come on "Ware") and Joy. We went to this really pretty conservation area on a river but it was very chilly! The kids didn't seem to care. After our hike we went back to their house and the kiddos made pizza for lunch, yum! The next day we explored our backyard. Lil' T went "fishing" in the pond and there were tons of turtles sunny themselves. When Ry got home from work we went for a hike at Beaver Brook. One day Lil' T got to enjoy "It's Great to be 1, 2 & 3" at the library. Shaving cream, playdough and art were his favorite centers to play at. We then raced over to a playdate with our group at our friend Claudia's. The next day we set up Lil' T's new soccer net and he had a ball (ha ha) playing soccer. It was a great week for outdoor play. In the midst of all this fun we found out that Lil' T had another double ear infection. He has had a yucky cold but that had been the only symptom! This kid has a very high pain threshold. He has been a trooper! We had a quiet weekend at home. Auntie Lisa came to play on Sunday so we could go to the Mow Crew premiere. He was so happy to see her (she had been in Tokyo for 10 days). This week has gotten off to a fun start. We went to this fun place called "Jump On In" with our group. They have these huge slides, obstacle courses and jumpy things (all filled with air and super bouncy). Lil' T was very hesitant at first but once he figured out he could do everything by himself he wanted to do every "again, again". We are now having a quiet day at home while the rain comes down outside. Here are the pictures:) 1) hiking with the new "Ware" (Lil' T's got the map so we don't get lost), 2) group shot, 3) "riding" on a dog, 4) making pizza, first put the sauce on, 5) lots of cheese is very important, 6) yummy ham and green peppers for the toppings (they ate more than they put on!), 7) "fishing" in our pond, 8) hiking with daddy, 9) shaving cream anyone?, 10) playing soccer, his new favorite, 11) jumping for joy, & 12) one of the obstacle courses.
