We had a quick week since we were away until Monday and then we had a memorial to attend on Friday. Lil' T and I were not happy with the rain but what can you do. Vivian spent the morning with us on Wednesday and I braved the library by myself with 2 very busy 2 year olds. They comported themselves quite well even though story time wasn't quite grabbing their attention. They had fun playing with the toys after story time and they "helped" me pick out books before heading home for lunch. That evening we met up with Auntie Lisa and Great-Meme for dinner at the "moosie" AKA Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse where Lil' T impressed the heck out of his great-grandmother (he was on his best behavior for his audience). Thursday the rain was still coming down but we ventured out for a puddle walk and some climber time. On Friday Uncle Taylor and our fam headed up to NH for a memorial for our great-aunt Ruth. Lil' T did a super job during the service and then had a ball playing with all of his cousins during the reception and after-party. It was truly a celebration of Ruth's life and of our family! After the festivities we headed home where Bapa, Wama, Great-grama, & Unkie joined us for the night and then the next day. Lil' T was in his glory to have part of his fan club with him at his house. Yesterday we got a ton of house and yard work done thanks to my parents (my mom watched the little man in the am and then he took a 4 hour nap). Lil' T took Wama for a tour of the pond and back woods. He found mud and played in the pond for a long time. My mom thought she might have to go in to retrieve him but he eventually came out. Lil' T also had fun watching the farmers across the street with his Bapa. We ended the visit with a stop at this dairy barn we enjoy for some greasy food and ice cream, yum! Here are just a few pics for you to enjoy, ha ha! 1) so proud that he has an adult glass (he got it at the end of the meal), 2) kissing his great-meme, 3)reading books with cousins Carl & Ella, 4) the 3rd generation of cousins, 5) king & queen on the rock (this rock was huge), 6) lollipops are yummy, 7) celebrating Great-aunt Ruth, 8) hanging out with cousin Marcia, 9) reading a book with great-grama and 10) playing in the tall grass with Bapa.
