A fantastic weekend!

We hope you all had a nice, long weekend! We had a wonderful 4 day visit with my college roommate ("Auntie" Sarah) and her family in Maine. We also got to see "Auntie" Myriah and her family as well as some of extended family members of "Uncle" Matt's (Sarah's husband). I took a ton of pictures and it was very hard to pick for the blog so check out the shutterfly share site if you get a chance. Lil' T had a blast with his buddies. Seeing as that he and Molly are both 2 there were some strategic negotiations that took place but for the most part the kiddos got along very well. What could be better than starting the weekend off with a yummy lobster dinner straight from the sea? (Sarah & Matt's tenant is a lobsterman and was kind enough to catch us some dinner). Lil' T and Ava had fun playing with the lobsters before the adults ate them. Who says you can't play with your food? We ended the evening with a walk down to the beach where we ate ice cream and then the brave children went swimming (it was sooooo cold). The rest of the weekend flew by with scenic walks, yummy meals, a rainy beach trip (the sun came out as soon as we got back to the house), tricycle riding, and a parade. Here are the pictures from some of our adventures! 1) Lobster dinner on the loose (Lil' T loved petting them), 2) riding bicycles (the 3 kiddos would ride bikes to the end of the street where they would park them at a neighbors house before we went anywhere else, Lil' T thought this was the best!), 3) Chocolate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, 4) rounding the bases that "Uncle" Matt drew in the sand with Molly, 5) First swim of the season (I'm cold just thinking about it), 6) playing in the sand with Molly and Phoenix, 7) How many kiddos can fit on one surf board?, 8) "Up & Down" with Ava & Reilly, 9) reading with Molly & Ava's auntie Melissa, and 10) watching the Memorial Day Parade, Lil' T loved the fire trucks and they had the sirens blaring (what a difference a year makes).
