Our Last Two Weeks on MV: Swim lessons, playgroups & pumpkins

Our MV adventure has come to an end and we are now home! The last two weeks flew by. Lil' T stayed busy with swim lessons and playgroups. He really enjoyed all of his swim lessons and learned so much this summer and fall. He can now swim on his belly across and back the width of the pool and he can swim on his back (it's not pretty but he can do it!). He can tread water for 40+ seconds and if he gets tired he knows to float on his back (which he can do without an help). He can float for quite a while now. He can dive down under the water to retrieve things. HE does need a little help in deeper water. He also enjoys doing flying leaps off the diving blocks and he will do an occasional standing dive off the side of the pool. We look forward to doing an occasional lesson with Kelly when we visit the island this winter.
We caught up with Connie, Todd, Cole & Gavin one night. We had a nice dinner with them and the boys had fun playing together. We attended the Living Local Festival with Bapa. Lil' T & Ryan carved a pumpkin together and we at some yummy local food! Over the last two weeks we enjoyed the different playgroups at the family center including an AFTA gathering with Ciara, Sam & Jack. Fall is such a fun time! Grama brought lots of fun stuff home from work for the little man to play with; a cool Dino lego set was a favorite and so were the books on tape/CD!! Thanks Grama!!
Our last weekend was full of last visits. "Okay" Uncle Lon & G-Auntie "Mauree" came down with some friends and we enjoyed a nice dinner with them. We spent a nice afternoon and evening with Nani, Da & Auntie Lisa. Da & Lil' T carved another silly/spooky pumpkin and they planted some bulbs together. We visited with "Uncle" Robb, "Auntie" Eileen & Gerry. We also had a nice afternoon/evening with Grama and Bapa. We took a walk to the OB school playground and we visited with our friends Darcy & Rich. We rounded out the day with Thai food, yum!!!
It's really nice to be home but we are definitely missing our little island and all our friends and family there! Here are some photos to enjoy, lots of swimming!

streamline off the wall, swim to the middle, roll into a back float, Kelly counts to 20, swim back to wall, repeat about 4 times!

Diving for dive sticks and rings (Kelly managed to convince him to move away from the stairs, his safety net).

Super spooky pumpkin:)
