We recently traveled to Lake George for a mini-vacation with my mom's family. My dad (Bapa) and I took the kiddos up to see G-Uncle Todd, G-Aunt Cathy, Cousin Carol, Cousin Anthony (AKA Ant), G-Grandma Edie, "Okay" Uncle Lon, & G- Aunt Maureen (AKA Auntie Maureee). My uncle Todd found this fun rental house just set back from the lake (we had one house between us and the lake). It had a great outdoor fire pit, a hammock, a pond with fish and frogs, a huge deck and lots of space for hanging out. It also had a dock we could use to swim off of and put kayaks in from. We got to do some really fun stuff. Our adventures included a hike past a waterfall (it was running pretty dry) to the lake with some great picnic spots, swimming in the lake, renting a motor boat & taking it out for an afternoon of fun (we went to our own private island for lunch & a swim), the Adirondack Balloon Festival, kayaking, intense games of air hockey, frog catching, tons of great food, and camp fires with sparklers! We ended the trip with a dinner/visit with G-Grama G. Here a few photos to enjoy:)
