What a difference a day makes! Lil' T was full of beans today and other than a meltdown at dinner (really my fault since he didn't get a nap) had a wonderful day. We left Langhorne, PA and headed for Hershey, PA this morning. We didn't get to the park until after 11 but there was much fun to be had. Lil' T loved the kiddie rides and got to go on all by himself! He was so proud:) Now that we are 2 1/2 and we love rides we aren't the most patient waiter when there is a line. We had a few moments of tears today when we had to wait in line but then he was all smiles as soon as the ride started. We did a few family rides (he went on his first flume ride with his Nani, Da, Daddy & Mama) and we went to the Zoo America (a very small zoo). At the zoo, Lil' T would take a peek at the different animals, say goodbye to them, blow them a kiss and then run towards the next exhibit saying & signing "more" animals. We also saw a fun theatrical show with actors and sea lions. Lil' T danced away when they played some fun music. On the way back to The Hershey Lodge (chocolate theme in all the rooms, my sheets have kisses on them) Lil' T crashed and was sound sleep. We thought maybe he would be down for the night but decided to wake up for dinner. I am hoping for a full night of sleep but we shall see! Here are some fun pics from the day: 1) who wants some kettle corn (I really don't want to share though), 2) Lil' T's first ride all by himself, the bee ride, 3) my little thrill seeker yelling "argh" as he rides the mini-pirate ship, 4) riding with Da in the truck (he informed Da that he, Lil' T, would be riding in the front of the truck by himself and Da could ride in back), 5) waiting for the show and eating chocolate!!!!, 6) hanging out with Da at the Zoo, 7) crazy man driving the spaceship (this ride goes up and down when the front person pulls or pushes on a throttle and he had us all the way up the whole time), & 8) eating chocolate butter (no he didn't put it on his bread he ate it straight off the plate).
