The Adventures of Lil' T: MV in September is the Best!

Well another 3 weeks have gone by in a flash! Ryan was here for a whole week which was great! We spent a morning on Chappy hiking. The bugs were awful but the weather was gorgeous. Another day we hiked at Blackwater Pond and then met up with Da for lunch. Lil' T had a Daddy day while I went off shopping with Nani & P. Lil' T had fun playing cards with Bran & "big boy Riley" during our visit. We were the only brave souls to attend the beach party AFTA gathering. It was so windy and super chilly at State Beach but Lil' T didn't care. He had a blast on his boogie board and then body surfing the big waves (they were huge for State). The next week we missed having Ryan/Daddy around but enjoyed the playgroups at the family center and swimming started back up. Lil' T's first class back was a little disappointing because it was all new kids and they had to start all over because the other kids were very new to swimming. His teacher Kelly is great though and let him switch groups after trying a class with the Rays (the next level up). It works out well because it is a mixed group of kids (ability wise) so his teacher is being really good about meeting all the needs and Lil' T is having a blast! He's swimming under water more and he has gotten to jump off the starting blocks. It is also a nice small group of 4 with T being the only boy:) Ryan had a nice 3 day weekend so we took the kids to the pool and T got to show off all his new tricks! "Uncle" Sebby, "Auntie" Kasia & Zosia came to play for a couple days. We walked on South Beach and checked out the waves. We ate a ton of yummy food. The kids danced together. We spent part of a day at Long Point and then did the 50 cent tour of up island ending with dinner on the beach at Menemsha with a gorgeous sunset! We just recently returned from a mini-vacation at Lake George but I will talk about that in another post. Here a few photos to enjoy!
